About Fuke-Sumoto Liner

In order to promote wide-area exchanges centered on the two cities and towns and to revitalize the region, Misaki Town, Sennan County, Osaka Prefecture, and Sumoto City, Hyogo Prefecture, are working to revive regular passenger ship routes that once connected the two cities and towns.
Currently, there are no shipping routes that cross Osaka Bay, and the realization of the Fukahi Port Sumoto Port route as the “Osaka Bay Southbound Route” will go beyond the scope of basic municipalities and promote tourism not only on Awaji Island and southern Osaka Prefecture, but also over a wide area, expanding consumption and spreading economic benefits, as well as helping to ensure redundancy in distribution and human flow in the event of a major disaster. It will also play a role in ensuring the redundancy of logistics and human flow in the event of a large-scale disaster.
